What You'll Bring:
  • Expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools: Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation.
  • Experience with container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies: Istio, Linkerd.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Go, Java.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog.
  • Hands-on experience with API gateway and service integration: Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with database technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering and platform development.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing core platform solutions in multi-cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


Impact You'll Make:
  • Lead the design and development of core platform components for a multi-cloud hybrid infrastructure.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and resilient platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, and CloudFormation.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Ensure platform observability through integration of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business requirements.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in platform engineering practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $168,750.00 - $281,250 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
