What You'll Do

As a Commercial Security Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting a variety of security and low-voltage systems in commercial environments.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Installing access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems
  • Running and terminating low-voltage cabling
  • Mounting cameras, card readers, panels, and field devices
  • Programming and testing system components
  • Diagnosing installation and connectivity issues
  • Reading blueprints, layouts, and project documentation
  • Coordinating work with project managers, contractors, and customers
  • Training end users on system functionality
  • Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards

What You Bring

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in security, low-voltage, electrical, or related technical installation work
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Professional attitude and customer service skills

Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
