What You'll DoAs a Commercial Security Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting a variety of security and low-voltage systems in commercial environments.
Your Responsibilities Include:- Installing access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems
- Running and terminating low-voltage cabling
- Mounting cameras, card readers, panels, and field devices
- Programming and testing system components
- Diagnosing installation and connectivity issues
- Reading blueprints, layouts, and project documentation
- Coordinating work with project managers, contractors, and customers
- Training end users on system functionality
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards
What You BringRequired- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in security, low-voltage, electrical, or related technical installation work
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Professional attitude and customer service skills
Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus- Access Control Systems
- CCTV / IP Video Surveillance
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Intrusion Detection Systems
- Structured Cabling
- Commercial Construction Projects
- Lift Equipment and Scissor Lifts
