Job Title: AI/ML Software Engineer Work Location: 100% remote (Initial 2 days on-site in Annapolis, MD; must be able to report on-site within 72 hours if required) Contract Duration: Five (5) year term (07/01/2026 to 06/30/2031) 🔹 Job Responsibilities: Build software tools incorporating AI/ML techniques to automate tasks, assist internal users, and improve external user experiences Design and build software systems integrating AI/ML for automation (e.g., RPA, chatbots, LLM agents) Collaborate on system architecture, agent workflows, and technical decision-making Develop and implement testing/evaluation pipelines, including unit and integration tests for AI workflows Support deployment of AI/ML applications in hybrid cloud and containerized environments Document system designs, workflows, and technical decisions Stay informed on AI/ML advancements and apply them within project constraints 🔹 Required Experience: Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field Preferred: At least three (3) years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI development Preferred: At least three (3) years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or web development Proficiency in Python (backend services, APIs, data pipelines) and experience with SQL/relational databases Experience with LLM integration (API and local), RAG systems, and containerization (Docker) 🔹 Important Notes: Candidate must meet all minimum qualifications; the AOC prefers additional experience in specialized AI/ML domains Resource Acknowledgment Form (Attachment O) must be completed and signed by the candidate The Offeror may propose no more than one (1) resource Successful resources must follow all Judiciary health and safety protocols (e.g., pandemic-related requirements)
