Solutions Architect, Senior
The Opportunity:

As a Solutions Architect, you'll lead complex enterprise-scale NAVWAR technology programs spanning systems engineering, product development, cloud architecture, artificial intelligence, data modernization, and test and evaluation for mission-critical operational systems.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing system-of-systems engineering and technical product delivery within highly complex defense environments, with a proven ability to translate operational requirements into technical strategies, architectures, roadmaps, and executable programs.

This position will provide technical and programmatic leadership across cross-functional engineering, product, data, cloud, and operational teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the establishment of product vision, driving multi-year technical roadmaps, managing complex system integrations, and delivering secure, scalable capabilities that support mission-critical decision-making and operational readiness.

You Have:
  • 15+ years of experience in systems engineering, technical program management, product management, or software engineering
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale or defense technology programs involving complex systems and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in system-of-systems engineering and enterprise architecture
  • Experience developing and executing technical product strategies and multi-year product roadmaps
  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering, product, data, and technology teams, and operating within highly-regulated, secure, or classified environments
  • Experience integrating legacy systems with modern data and technology platforms
  • Knowledge of Agile product development and technical delivery methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and operational stakeholders
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, or Engineering


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with data-centric and data-mesh architectures
  • Experience with Azure and AWS GovCloud or Cloud architecture in defense or government environments
  • Experience with classified data platforms and enterprise data environments
  • Experience with predictive analytics, operational decision-support systems, readiness analytics, and predictive maintenance
  • Experience with engineering legacy system modernization and enterprise integration
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and performing Agile transformation and product delivery
  • Knowledge of AI/ML, data-centric engineering, cloud computing, and modern software development practices
  • Possession of excellent technical communication, organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in CS, Information Systems, or Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
