  • Provide design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
  • Represent the engineering community from the build phase through the post-production environment.
  • Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with company standards.
  • Lead activities for on-site disabled product repair teams and support accident investigations.
  • Design appropriate jacking and shoring schemes and lead the design of interim structural repairs.
Required Qualifications

Education: An engineering degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology is required.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience with the design of structural and electrical rework or repairs to restore aircraft or systems to their original design capability. Previous commercial material review experience is also required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience reading and creating engineering drawings, specifications, processes, and design manuals.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience with avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, or aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting.
  • Experience researching engineering designs to develop solutions for product or process issues.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience assisting with analyses, root cause analysis, and drafting dispositions for non-conformances.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience collecting, researching, and evaluating issues for product or process improvement opportunities.
  • Materials Review Board (MRB) or Universal Product Review (UPR) approval authority certification.
  • Executive interior installation or design experience.
  • Modification and repair experience on wide-body aircraft.
