Summary

We are seeking experienced Senior Power Platform Developers to lead the modernization of legacy SharePoint Online solutions into scalable, model-driven Power Apps using Microsoft Dataverse. This role involves end-to-end application delivery—including data modeling, development, automation, reporting, and migration—while supporting ongoing SharePoint site administration during the transition.

Key Responsibilities

Modernization & Migration

  • Design and deliver Dataverse-backed Power Platform solutions to replace or enhance legacy SharePoint applications.
  • Analyze existing systems (data, workflows, permissions) and redesign for scalability and maintainability.
  • Lead data migration, validation, and transformation from SharePoint to Dataverse.
  • Replace legacy workflows with Power Automate and modern app-driven processes.
  • Identify and resolve technical debt during migration.

Application Development

  • Build canvas and model-driven apps using Power Platform Premium capabilities.
  • Implement business logic, security roles, and role-based access controls.
  • Manage solution packaging, versioning, and deployment (ALM practices).
  • Troubleshoot across environments and integrate with APIs (e.g., Graph/HTTP) as needed.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.

SharePoint Support

  • Provide ongoing SharePoint Online site administration (permissions, configuration, maintenance).
  • Support users and ensure operational continuity during migration.
  • Assist with site cleanup and transition activities.

Delivery & Collaboration

  • Collaborate on requirements, design, testing, and UAT support.
  • Develop test artifacts and maintain technical documentation.

Leadership

  • Own end-to-end solution design and delivery.
  • Identify risks, make design decisions, and provide technical guidance and mentoring.

 Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Dataverse.
  • Proven experience migrating SharePoint Online solutions to Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Solid understanding of relational data modeling.
  • Experience with canvas and model-driven apps, and Power Platform ALM.
  • Practical SharePoint Online administration experience.
  • Experience with testing (UAT, defect management) and Microsoft 365 integrations (Teams, Outlook).
  • Federal government experience preferred.
