Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Associate Scientist for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of the Attribute Sciences Process Development Group, focusing on the analytical testing of attributes for biotherapeutic drug products. The successful candidate will support drug product advancement by developing and utilizing analytical methods to assess biochemical and biophysical characteristics, providing critical data for product development decisions.
Responsibilities: - Perform analytical testing of attributes of biotherapeutic drug products
- Develop analytical methods to assess biochemical and biophysical characteristics of candidate drug products
- Execute experiments in a laboratory setting and process the resulting data
- Share and discuss data with team members
Requirements: - Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of experience
- Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
- Experience with analytical assays
- Strong experimental lab skills
- Ability to critically think about data
- Must work well in a team environment
Desired skills: - Experience with Mass Spectrometry
Pay range: up to $33.43 per hour
