Job Description The Data & Reporting Analyst internship is designed for junior and senior undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Management Information Systems. This fully remote internship provides hands-on experience working with real business data, building dashboards, performing SQL-based analyses, and supporting enterprise reporting initiatives. Interns will gain exposure to modern Microsoft cloud technologies-including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate-while learning directly from experienced data analysts. What You'll Do - Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources to support recurring and ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Build and update dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and Excel.
- Use SQL to query, manipulate, and analyze data for insights and reporting accuracy.
- Run basic analyses to identify trends, measure performance, and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Assist with preparing summary insights and communicating key findings to team members or leadership.
- Support documentation of data processes, reporting standards, metadata, and recurring workflows.
- Learn and apply best practices in data retrieval, transformation, quality assurance, and reporting.
- Collaborate with senior analysts on project-based assignments, gradually taking on more independent work as skills expand.

Qualifications - Currently a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

- Familiarity with Microsoft cloud technologies, including the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Strong foundational skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation.
- Exposure to Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, and basic data modeling concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly summarize findings.
- Comfort using Microsoft 365 tools such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Lists, and Forms.
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for working with data and technology.
