Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role involves developing and designing comprehensive courses tailored for datacenter and critical infrastructure professionals. You will play a key part in creating instructional materials and tools that help learners excel in their roles, such as datacenter technicians and analysts. This is a contract position with the potential for a permanent role, offering the opportunity to contribute to impactful educational initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop end-to-end course content for datacenter and critical infrastructure training.
Collaborate with a team of instructional designers and developers to create classroom-ready materials.
Build curriculum materials including tasks, job aids, and lists to enhance learner engagement.
Create instructional tools using platforms such as Google Docs, Google Slides, and Articulate 360.
Incorporate augmented reality elements where applicable to enrich learning experiences.
Work closely with analysts to transform design and market insights into effective course materials.
Develop content on topics such as datacenter hardware, cooling systems, power distribution, and motor control systems.
Ensure the curriculum aligns with industry standards and prepares learners for real-world challenges.
Optionally deliver training sessions and workshops at our facility.
Report progress and outcomes to the VP of Product.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, preferably within the technology sector.
Strong understanding of datacenter environments and critical infrastructure operations.
Proven expertise in curriculum development and instructional systems design.
Familiarity with datacenter technologies, including HVAC systems, power generation, and electronic controls.
Proficiency in using tools like Google Docs, Google Slides, and Articulate 360.
Experience working with augmented reality or virtual reality tools is a plus.
Ability to translate technical concepts into engaging and accessible training materials.
Excellent organizational and communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
