Roles & Responsibilities
Technical Program Manager
Google Cloud Platform Experience

• Lead cross-functional teams spread across geography to deliver complex projects
• Define, monitor and improve critical to success metrics for the success of the project
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
• Plan and manage multiple parallel projects
• Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
• Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
• Apply best practices to the software development life cycle for projects based on experiences with a number of agile and blended approaches, as well effectively coordinating the implementations across teams using very different approaches
• Interact with Project Sponsors, Project Stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features
• Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies
• Ensure consistent and transparent status updates with all stakeholders (Engineering, Business, Product, Leadership)
• Ensure the following of Scrum and Kanban Rituals as needed

Key Skills

Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

7+ years of relevant work experience in internet-related program and/or program management

Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules

Strong project management & cross group collaboration skills

Prior experience with agile methodologies

Solid understanding of the current web technologies and general ability to ramp up and go deep into based on need

Think creatively and critically about product features, architecture, and capabilities with innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment

Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

Strong experience in Project Management Information systems including but not limited to Jira and Confluence
