| Job Summary |
| We are looking for a skilled Google Cloud Platform Platform Engineer to build, automate, secure, and operate cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Python, Terraform, and cloud security, with supporting experience in IAM, networking, CI/CD, SRE, Vertex AI, and Kubernetes. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable platform capabilities, enabling infrastructure automation, strengthening security controls, and improving reliability across cloud environments. |

| Key Responsibilities |
| |
| Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure platform engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform. |
| Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for automated, repeatable, and auditable cloud provisioning. |
| Create and enhance Python-based automation for cloud operations, monitoring, integrations, and platform tooling. |
| Implement security controls and guardrails across Google Cloud Platform environments, including identity, access, secrets, and policy enforcement. |
| Configure and support IAM models, service accounts, role design, and least-privilege access patterns. |
| Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployment across development, test, and production environments. |
| Support Kubernetes-based platforms on Google Cloud Platform, including cluster configuration, workload deployment, and operational stability. |
| Collaborate with SRE and operations teams to improve observability, monitoring, incident response, and platform reliability. |
| Work on networking setup and connectivity patterns, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, DNS, and secure access design. |
| Enable and support Vertex AI platform capabilities as part of cloud-native and ML-enabled engineering environments. |
| Troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure, security controls, deployment automation, and runtime platform performance. |
| Document platform standards, automation patterns, operating procedures, and engineering best practices for internal teams and vendors. |

| Must-Have Skills |
| |
| Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services and platform engineering practices. |
| Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and operational tooling. |
| Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. |
| Good understanding of cloud security principles, access control, secrets management, and policy enforcement. |
| Experience with IAM, role design, and service account management in Google Cloud Platform. |
| Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. |
| Working experience with Kubernetes and containerized platform environments. |
| Knowledge of networking concepts including VPC, firewall, DNS, and secure connectivity. |
| Familiarity with SRE practices including monitoring, reliability, alerting, and incident response. |
