< dir="ltr">About the Role

We're growing our backend engineering team and looking for a Senior Python Developer to help design and build core services for a data-intensive SaaS platform. You'll work on business logic services, third-party integrations, and data pipelines that power our product.

< dir="ltr">Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI (or similar frameworks)

• Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms via REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth

• Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, with attention to data integrity, precision, and auditability

• Build and maintain scheduled/batch processing pipelines (e.g., Celery) for recurring data processing jobs

• Collaborate with data science/ML engineers on services that consume or serve model outputs via API

• Write thorough unit and integration tests for core business logic

• Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and on-call rotation

• Work closely with frontend engineers to design clean, well-documented APIs

< dir="ltr">Required Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience with Python, including strong proficiency with FastAPI 

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization

• Comfort with precise numeric handling in contexts where accuracy and correctness are critical

• Experience with task queues/schedulers (Celery, APScheduler, or similar) for batch/async processing

• Experience integrating with third-party REST/SOAP APIs (webhooks, OAuth, retries, idempotency patterns)

• Solid understanding of software testing practices, especially for business-rule-heavy systems

• Strong written communication skills

• Experience with systems requiring high data integrity or auditability (e.g., regulated industries, financial or compliance-adjacent systems)

• Experience with enterprise system integrations (ERP, CRM, or similar platforms)

• Familiarity with pandas, scikit-learn, or forecasting/ML libraries

• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)

• Experience with gRPC/Protobuf or other strongly-typed service contracts

• Prior experience in fintech or other audit-adjacent domai
