Location: San Jose, CA – 100% Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to own and drive customer projects from initiation through successful completion. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience along with hands-on exposure to MEP P6 (Primavera P6), PM methodologies, CI/CD, and AWS.

The Project Manager will work closely with project sponsors, PMO teams, technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to established project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive customer projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans using Primavera P6 (MEP P6).
• Participate in project reviews and provide regular project status and progress reports.
• Track project milestones, schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Manage project scope changes and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate project activities across technical teams, business analysts, architects, business users, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor project metrics and provide timely reporting to customers and project sponsors.
• Apply Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies as appropriate.
• Support projects involving CI/CD and AWS cloud environments.
• Conduct risk management analysis and develop mitigation plans.
• Balance critical issue resolution with competing project priorities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, PMO, client, and project management standards.
• Work collaboratively with project sponsors and PMO teams to address project risks and escalations.
• Support continuous improvement and project management process enhancement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of direct, full-time Project Management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 / MEP P6.
• Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and metrics reporting.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Experience working with AWS/cloud environments.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve critical project issues.
• Experience collaborating with business analysts, architects, technical teams, business users, client stakeholders, project managers, and sponsors.
• Strong understanding of project risks, dependencies, scope, schedules, and budgets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Consulting experience.
• Formal project management training or certification, including PMI/PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile Alliance.
• Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM) tools and techniques.
• Experience managing technology/cloud transformation projects.
• Experience with project management reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
