Role: Senior Strategy Analyst
Location: onsite in McLean, VA, five days per week. Locals only
Prior exp. w/ Mortgage Industry is required

We are seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to support senior leaders on high-impact data and technology initiatives for a major financial services client. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, and technology, with a primary focus on developing executive-level strategy and decision-support materials.
The Senior Strategy Analyst will operate as a thought partner to senior stakeholders, structuring ambiguous problems, synthesizing complex inputs, and translating analysis into clear narratives and recommendations. While the role is presentation- and strategy-led, a strong grounding in data, data architecture, and modern technology platforms is required to ensure rigor and credibility behind the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop executive-level strategy, insights, and decision-support presentations
- Structure and analyze complex, ambiguous business and technology problems
- Synthesize inputs from business, data, and technology teams into clear recommendations
- Partner with senior leaders to shape strategic narratives and messaging
- Support data, digital, and technology transformation initiatives with strong analytical rigor
- Ensure strategy materials are grounded in a solid understanding of data and technology concepts
Qualifications
- Proven experience creating executive-level strategy or decision-support presentations
- Strong problem-solving and structuring skills, with the ability to operate in ambiguous environments
- Solid understanding of data, technology, and modern data platforms sufficient to engage credibly with technical teams
- Experience supporting data, digital, or technology transformation initiatives
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for structure, clarity, and storytelling
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in McLean, VA, five days per week
Preferred Experience
- Financial services or mortgage-domain experience
- Background supporting large-scale data or technology transformation programs
- Experience working directly with senior executives or C-level stakeholders
- Consulting, strategy, or analytics background
