We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Production Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This pivotal role will provide you the opportunity to apply your leadership skills, technical expertise and continuous improvement knowledge to manage and drive the production team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and practical experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), Lean principles, and Six Sigma methodologies. You will be expected to lead by example, fostering a culture of safety, quality and productivity. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the production team to ensure manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
2. Implementing and maintaining GMP standards in all aspects of production.
3. Applying Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce process variation and enhance operational efficiency.
4. Developing and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing production costs.
5. Collaborating closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure product quality, equipment efficiency, and overall production effectiveness.
6. Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
7. Conducting performance appraisals, providing coaching and feedback, and facilitating ongoing training and development of team members.
8. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this challenging and rewarding role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in implementing and maintaining GMP standards.
3. Solid understanding and practical application of Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve production targets.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues promptly.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
7. Proficient in using MS Office Suite and other manufacturing related software.
8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
9. Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus.
