Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite / Hybrid Preferred)
Compensation: $65-70/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise to support enterprise-scale data platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building ELT pipelines, optimizing Snowflake performance, and designing scalable data models in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowflake-centric ELT pipelines

• Develop and optimize Snowflake SQL queries

• Perform performance tuning (clustering, caching, query optimization)

• Implement Snowflake security (RBAC, masking policies)

• Build and maintain scalable data models (star/snowflake schemas)

• Work with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in an agile environment

• Support CI/CD processes for data engineering workflows

Required Skills

• 8+ years in Data Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake

• Advanced SQL

• Experience with Python / PySpark

• Experience with AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue) or similar cloud stack

• Strong data warehousing and modeling fundamentals

Nice to Have

• dbt experience

• Databricks experience

• Experience in enterprise-scale environments

• Experience working with regulated industries
