Summary

Job Title: Senior Value Engineer (Manufacturing & Supply Chain)

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Value Engineer to drive optimization initiatives across our manufacturing and supply chain portfolios. In this role, you will analyze technical specifications, manufacturing processes, and material utilization to reduce total cost of ownership while maintaining the highest levels of quality, functionality, and performance.
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role. You will work at the intersection of Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing, serving as the "technical bridge" that transforms improvement concepts into bottom-line savings. If you are a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives on data-driven analysis and cross-functional consensus-building, this position offers a significant opportunity to impact operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Analysis & Optimization
Technical Evaluation: Identify and analyze optimization opportunities, including material/component alternatives, specification rationalization, and process application changes.
Cost-Benefit Modeling: Build detailed cost-impact analyses. Partner with technical teams to ensure that all proposed changes maintain or exceed existing quality, reliability, and brand standards.
Complexity Reduction: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and reduce operational complexity, driving consolidation and standardization across product or material portfolios.

Project Execution & Collaboration
Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner with site leadership, procurement teams, and process engineers to collect technical specifications and align on execution protocols.
Execution Leadership: Support site teams during the implementation of approved initiatives. Track project milestones, manage documentation, and ensure "savings delivery" stays on track against performance targets.
Reporting: Prepare high-level reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and management, providing clear insights into project progress, roadblocks, and delivery status.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Benchmarking: Participate in internal and external benchmarking activities to identify market trends and best practices that can be applied to our current operations.
Compliance Stewardship: Ensure all initiatives comply with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability/safety guidelines. Follow established change management processes to ensure seamless transitions.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Experience Baseline: Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of professional experience in engineering, value engineering, process engineering, or related manufacturing roles.
Technical Proficiency:
oStrong understanding of material specifications, industrial systems, and manufacturing processes.
oDemonstrated ability to perform basic cost analysis and technical evaluations.
oComfortable working with complex data, reporting platforms, and structured project documentation.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities; ability to define a problem, collect relevant data, and draw valid, actionable conclusions.

Preferred Attributes
Proven experience in a cross-functional manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Strong communication skills with an ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Commercial).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an execution-focused, fast-paced environment.
