Description
The Senior Exploitation Specialist / Data Scientist provides advanced data science and geospatial analytics in direct support of intelligence missions. This role requires Senior-level Python expertise to design and implement scalable, mission-ready solutions that integrate data from APIs, relational databases, and Intelligence Community repositories. The specialist applies geospatial analysis using tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, GDAL, or ArcPy to identify trends and operational insights, and delivers findings through interactive visualizations and dashboards integrated into daily intelligence workflows. The position requires prior intelligence mission support experience, strong SQL and version control skills, the ability to operate independently in a high-tempo environment, and the capability to translate complex data into actionable intelligence for operational decision-makers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Senior-level proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience in designing mission ready solutions.
Experience querying and integrating web APIs through Python to retrieve, normalize, and operationalize data.
Experience developing interactive data visualizations using Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh, or comparable tools.
Experience building dashboards and analytic interfaces using Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases.
Experience using Git-based version control platforms such as GitLab or GitHub.
Proficiency with geospatial processing frameworks such as GDAL or ArcPy.
Proficiency with GIS desktop software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.
Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation related to software systems and automated workflows.
Ability to operate independently at a Senior level with limited oversight.
Familiarity with USSOCOM and broader U.S. military organizational structures.
Familiarity with common Intelligence Community (IC) data repositories.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
