Job Summary - Ensure all contractual and regulatory quality requirements are communicated and met.
- Support receiving, in-process, and final quality control across departments.
- Lead root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Serve as customer and supplier interface for quality issues and resolution.
- Establish and maintain quality procedures in collaboration with internal teams.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, quality management systems, and audit requirements.
- Provide daily leadership, direction, workflow management, and training to employees.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and strong communication.
- Track departmental performance and support recruiting, employee development, and performance decisions.
- Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in the assigned functional area.
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes, work measurement, and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong technical writing, documentation, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Project, and MRP/ERP systems.
- Effective communication skills with customers and internal teams; ability to represent the company professionally.
- Negotiation, conflict management, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt to changing conditions.
- High accuracy and attention to detail; strong professional attitude and demeanor.
- Abilities consistent with the General Requirements of Team Members.
Preferred Skills and Experience- Understanding of DOE, 6-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing desired
- Experience within electrical or electronic manufacturing
- Advanced ERP and Microsoft Office skills (e-mail, Word, Excel), intermediate level Power Point, and Access preferred
