Your role As a Quality Control Inspector, your mission is to ensure the highest standards of product quality by thoroughly inspecting, evaluating, and documenting non-conforming parts. You will perform accurate dimensional checks, conduct NDE inspections, and review all associated records and paperwork to verify compliance with specifications. You will provide timely and precise disposition decisions and drive effective resolution of quality issues identified both in-house and at vendor locations. Through your attention to detail, technical expertise, and proactive problem-solving, you will help protect product integrity and support a culture of continuous improvement. You will report to the Quality Manager.

- Inspection & Documentation
- Perform physical inspections and documentation review for incoming parts, in-process work, and assembled components.
- Ensure manufacturing documentation is accurate and complete prior to "Green Tag" release.
- Facilitate resolution of issues related to misunderstanding or misinterpretation of product specifications and tolerances.
- Quality Issues Management
- Fully document defects, responsible parties, and resolutions in the Quality Module.
- Respond to quality issues with high sense of urgency, escalating and communicating appropriately.
- Drive resolution of individual quality issues to minimize cost, schedule impact, and recurrence.
- Ensure quality issues are contained or that appropriate mitigation plans are in place for work in progress.
- Process Improvement & Corrective Actions
- Assist in developing detailed in-process inspections and updated ERP to capture these requirements.
- Support implementation of corrective actions for systemic or recurring defects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as liaison between engineering and suppliers on individual quality issues.
- Ensure the sourcing team is informed of vendor related quality issues and associated cost/schedule impacts.

You have at least 3 years of experience working in a quality or a quality improvement role.
- You are familiar with US Industry Standards and Codes and International Standards, including ISO 9001.
- You have an understanding of geometric dimension and tolerance.
- You can read, understand, and interpret engineering and design documentation.
- You have the ability to use measuring tools and measure tight tolerances.
- You are willing to travel up to 5% of the time to supplier to support production oversight or resolution of quality issues.

- Comprehensive compensation and benefits:
- Salary: Base salary ranges from $69,000 to $107,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
- Annual Bonus: Up to 5% of the base salary.
