Requirement/Must Have:

• Proven hands-on experience architecting and deploying Jira Cloud applications using Atlassian Forge.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience building user interfaces using React (Custom UI) or Forge UI Kit.
• Experience developing scalable and secure Forge applications and APIs.
• Strong experience with Jira Cloud REST APIs.
• Experience implementing asynchronous processing and event-driven architectures within Forge.
• Strong understanding of Forge authentication and platform security practices.
• Experience designing performant, reusable, and maintainable code solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience integrating Jira Cloud with external SaaS applications and internal systems.
• Experience developing workflow automation, custom validation rules, and business logic extensions.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing Jira Cloud applications and integrations.
• Experience documenting technical designs, testing plans, and deployment procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Jira Cloud applications using Atlassian Forge.
• Architect scalable and secure application solutions using Forge modules and APIs.
• Develop custom UI components and workflow extensions.
• Utilize Forge Storage, Queues, Resolvers, and event-driven services to support business processes.
• Integrate Jira Cloud with external SaaS platforms and enterprise systems.
• Develop and implement custom business logic and validation rules.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for Jira Cloud applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and define solutions.
• Create technical documentation, deployment procedures, and testing plans.
• Ensure alignment between technical solutions and strategic business objectives.

Should Have:

• Familiarity with Jira Expressions.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Jira environments.
