Content Transformation: Convert existing documents (PDF, Word) into accessible HTML formats optimized for usability.

Accessibility Auditing: Conduct comprehensive inventories of existing web content to identify gaps and implement necessary remediation.

Technical Implementation: Apply best practices for semantic markup, ARIA attributes, and responsive design to ensure a seamless user experience.

Validation & Testing: Perform rigorous accessibility validation using both automated state-approved tools and manual testing methods.

Collaboration: Partner with department staff to ensure content accuracy and provide documentation for ongoing accessibility compliance.

Accessibility Expertise: Proven experience implementing content compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in HTML programming, web design, and web development.

Content Management: Experience working with web content management tools (knowledge of HCL/WCM is highly preferred).

Document Remediation: Expertise in using Adobe Acrobat Pro to create and remediate accessible PDF documents.

Portfolio Requirement: Ability to provide tangible examples of web design and development projects that demonstrate your technical accessibility skills.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex requirements and develop effective, accessible solutions.

Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail, specifically regarding user experience and semantic accuracy.
