Our client is seeking a SCADA Systems Administrator in Hollywood, FL.

Role Description

We are seeking a hands-on SCADA System Administrator with strong experience in PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems to support critical Public Works infrastructure across South Florida. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in industrial plant environments and a passion for maintaining and optimizing control systems.
Design, configure, and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems across water, wastewater, and utility facilities
Provide technical leadership on projects and ongoing operational support for local and remote facilities, including pump stations and lift stations
Maintain and support industrial computing systems, ensuring reliability and performance of Public Works infrastructure
Collaborate with internal teams on planning, deployment, and execution of large-scale technology initiatives
Travel locally to various plants and operational sites to troubleshoot, maintain, and support systems as needed

Skills & Requirements

3+ years of experience supporting PLC, SCADA, and HMI technologies in industrial or plant environments
Moderate to advanced PLC experience required, with a strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems
Experience working in industrial settings such as utilities, manufacturing, or plant environments (water/wastewater experience preferred but not required)
Ability to support systems both remotely and on-site
Comfortable working in a structured on-call rotation supporting a 24/7 environment
Must be based in South Florida and able to travel locally to support multiple facilities
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with InTouch for System Platform is a plus
Valid Florida Driver's License required
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
