The team is seeking an engineer who approaches testing as a software development discipline, someone who is passionate about designing scalable automation frameworks, improving test coverage through code, and helping teams deliver reliable software at scale. You'll play a key role in advancing engineering quality standards while collaborating with developers, product teams, and other automation specialists to modernize testing practices across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience

Strong Python software development experience
Hands-on experience building automated test frameworks using pytest
Background developing and maintaining automated tests for backend systems, APIs, data pipelines, or ETL processes
Experience writing production-quality code and participating in code reviews
Knowledge of software version control systems such as Git
Experience validating data integrity, data quality, and complex business workflows
Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated deployment pipelines
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience supporting enterprise-scale financial or data-driven applications
Exposure to cloud-based development environments
Knowledge of test automation strategies across frontend, backend, API, and data platforms
Experience creating reusable testing utilities and shared automation components
Familiarity with release management and deployment validation activities
Understanding of software quality metrics and testing best practices
