Summary
- Lead migration projects from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS and from CA Automation Point to IBM SAIOM.
- Configure and implement IBM Systems Automation solutions, including policy-based automation for z/OS environments.
- Develop and maintain automation rules, REXX execs, and System Automation Policy Database (PDB) configurations.
- Provide installation, configuration, and troubleshooting support for IBM automation products
- Collaborate with operations teams to improve startup, shutdown, recovery, and high-availability automation processes.
- Proven experience in mainframe operations and z/OS automation environments.
- Hands-on migration experience from Non-IBM / ISV automation tools—especially CA OPS/MVS and CA Automation Point—to IBM Systems Automation solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of IBM Tivoli Systems Automation for z/OS.
- Working knowledge of NetView for z/OS and System Automation Policy Database (PDB).
- Strong TSO/ISPF, JCL, and REXX programming skills. Demonstrated experience in installation, configuration, documentation, and automation-related troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SMP/E for software installation and maintenance.
- Experience with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z.
