Job Title: AWS Python Developer (FastAPI)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled AWS Python Developer with strong FastAPI experience to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications. The role requires hands-on development, API design, and cloud integration within an enterprise financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
Build, deploy, and maintain applications on AWS cloud platform
Develop microservices-based architecture and ensure high performance and scalability
Work with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch
Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, QA, and business teams
Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization of applications

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Python development
Proven experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks
Solid experience with AWS services and serverless architecture
Experience with REST API development and microservices
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Git and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Financial Services/Banking domain
Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
Knowledge of data streaming or messaging tools (Kafka/SQS/SNS)

Experience:

5+ years of software development experience
2+ years working with AWS and FastAPI
