Job Title: AWS Python Developer (FastAPI)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a skilled AWS Python Developer with strong FastAPI experience to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications. The role requires hands-on development, API design, and cloud integration within an enterprise financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI

• Build, deploy, and maintain applications on AWS cloud platform

• Develop microservices-based architecture and ensure high performance and scalability

• Work with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, QA, and business teams

• Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization of applications

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Python development

• Proven experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks

• Solid experience with AWS services and serverless architecture

• Experience with REST API development and microservices

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with Git and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Financial Services/Banking domain

• Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)

• Knowledge of data streaming or messaging tools (Kafka/SQS/SNS)

Experience:

• 5+ years of software development experience

• 2+ years working with AWS and FastAPI
