Salesforce Technical Lead – Health Cloud

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Technical Lead with strong Salesforce development and leadership experience. This individual will lead and mentor a team of four Salesforce developers, provide technical direction, and ensure that development activities remain aligned with project timelines, architecture standards, and business requirements.
The ideal candidate must have significant experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, hands-on Salesforce development expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with architects, business stakeholders, and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a team of four Salesforce developers.
- Remain actively involved in hands-on Salesforce design, development, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Keep the development team aligned with project priorities, sprint commitments, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce architects, business analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business and architectural requirements into scalable Salesforce technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards and best practices.
- Support solution design, technical documentation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and development blockers and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the overall Salesforce architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Previous experience working as a Salesforce Technical Lead.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and managing the technical work of Salesforce developers.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce integrations, APIs, triggers, workflows, and platform configuration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical architects, business teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce development standards, deployment processes, security, and platform limitations.
- Must hold an active Salesforce Platform Developer I – PD1 Certification.
- Must be located in the Eastern or Central time zone and be available to work Eastern Time hours.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Medicare or Medicaid-related applications or healthcare programs.
- Salesforce Data Cloud experience.
- Salesforce Agentforce implementation or development experience.
- Salesforce Agentforce Specialist Certification.
- Additional Salesforce certifications related to architecture, development, Health Cloud, or Data Cloud.
Engagement Details
This is a remote contract-to-hire opportunity. The selected candidate will initially work on a contract basis for approximately three to six months and will then be expected to convert to a permanent employee, subject to performance and business requirements.
