Required Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with Golang (preferred primary language)
Experience building distributed systems and microservices architectures
Experience with messaging, event streaming, or event-driven platforms
Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend service development
Experience working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure)
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, or similar messaging technologies
Experience building platform-level services used by multiple engineering teams
Background supporting high-volume consumer-facing applications
Experience with promotions, ecommerce, marketing technology, or customer engagement platforms
Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry
Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
