A Fortune 50 financial services organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to support advanced analytical initiatives across complex data environments.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to analyze complex datasets and drive business insights
Apply probabilistic theory, game theory, and dynamic systems concepts to solve real-world problems
Design and optimize data models, database structures, and data pipelines to support analytical initiatives
Perform data mining, analysis, and modeling to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities
Develop and deliver data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions
Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, algorithms, and analytical methodologies
Support development of predictive models, simulations, and optimization strategies
Ensure alignment with data governance, security, and compliance standards
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Data Science, Quantitative Analysis, or related fields, and/or a Doctorate in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related discipline
Advanced knowledge of Probabilistic Theory, Game Theory, and Dynamic Systems Theory
Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, and Algorithm Development
Experience with Database Design, Data Mining, and Data Modeling concepts
Proven ability to develop effective Data Visualization strategies
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business insights
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of algorithmic, Bayesian, Nash equilibrium, and related Game Theory disciplines
Proficiency with SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebook/Lab, and modern analytical frameworks
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Plotly
Exposure to Cybersecurity frameworks and related Data Analysis
Experience working in large-scale, enterprise, or regulated environments
