Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT processes)
Develop and manage data architectures, databases, and data warehouses
Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, streaming systems)
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability
Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business teams
Implement data security and governance best practices
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues
Automate data processes and workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
Proficiency in SQL and database systems
Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend)
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and modeling
Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with streaming tools (e.g., Kafka, Flink)
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Certification in cloud or data engineering technologies
