Sr. Infrastructure Admin

Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer VMware vSphere/vCenter environments, including provisioning, configuration, and performance tuning of virtual machines and clusters
Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, including subscription management and patching
Perform Linux system administration tasks such as user management, service configuration, package management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices for consistent and repeatable deployments
Monitor system health, performance, and capacity across virtualized, containerized, and Linux environments
Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of infrastructure components
Troubleshoot issues related to compute, storage, networking, and container workloads
Administer and manage enterprise storage systems, including SAN/NAS provisioning, LUN masking, multipathing, and storage performance tuning
Work with block and file storage technologies and integrate storage with VMware and container platforms (e.g., CSI drivers, persistent volumes)
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines and integrations (e.g., Jenkins)
Ensure security best practices, compliance, and system hardening across infrastructure and OS environments
Maintain documentation for infrastructure design, configurations, and operational procedures

• Provide Solaris system administration, including disk management, hardware replacement, OS installation, patching, and maintenance

Nice to Have
Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
Exposure to container platforms (e.g., OpenShift/Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with storage solutions like HPE Nimble
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python)
