IT Systems Architect

We are seeking an IT Systems Architect to join a technology team delivering solutions that address business problems and opportunities. In this role, you will translate business requirements into technical solution architectures, including application architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and non-functional requirements such as supportability, resiliency, and security.

You will also analyze business trends, apply architecture patterns, and leverage technology ecosystems, including data centers, application and integration patterns, technology standards, and computing paradigms, to design scalable, effective solutions.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks

• Design, develop, and implement systems or system changes to meet business needs.
• Provide functional support of applications within the technology team.
• Manage project development and implementation, including defining functional requirements, coordinating application testing, and supporting project rollouts.
• Assist support staff in investigating and resolving application issues.
• Work with business units to define, analyze, design, and document business processes and related applications.
• Coordinate changes with other applications and ensure compliance with functional and architectural standards.
• Prepare technical procedures, documentation, manuals, reports, and training materials.
• Maintain technical knowledge of industry trends and infrastructure best practices.

Basic Qualifications

Education:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Math, or Statistics

Experience:

• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree

• OR 7 years of relevant experience with an Associate’s degree

• Database: MS SQL
• Tools: ArgoCD & GitHub Actions (CI/CD), Openshift for application hosting
