Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced B2B Integration Lead / Sterling B2B Engineer to serve as the technical design authority for the Sterling B2B integration platform. This role will be responsible for defining and governing partner onboarding patterns, routing standards, certificate management, and overall integration of architecture. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across enterprise B2B initiatives and ensure secure, scalable, and reliable partner integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Sterling B2B integrations across multiple business partners.
Define and oversee partner onboarding processes, routing configurations, transformation standards, and certificate management.
Provide technical leadership and guidance for new integrations, platform enhancements, remediation activities, and system upgrades.
Collaborate with application teams, external partners, infrastructure teams, and security stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.
Establish and enforce reusable integration standards, best practices, and governance processes.
Ensure secure communication protocols and compliance with enterprise security requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues while maintaining platform stability and performance.
Support strategic initiatives involving partner connectivity and enterprise integration modernization.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
Deep understanding of B2B integration architecture, partner connectivity, routing, and data transformation patterns.
Experience with digital certificates, encryption technologies, secure communications, and certificate lifecycle management.
Knowledge of integration protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP/S, HTTPS, and related B2B communication standards.
Ability to design, document, and implement scalable integration solutions.
Experience establishing and enforcing enterprise-wide integration standards and best practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in banking, financial services, or payment-processing environments.
Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks and compliance requirements.
Experience leading large-scale B2B integration initiatives and partner onboarding programs.
Exposure to integration modernization and cloud-based integration platforms is a plus.

Education

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant IBM Sterling certifications are highly desirable.

Experience

8+ years of experience in B2B integrations.
5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
Prior experience in technical leadership or solution architecture roles preferred.
