Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SAP GTS solution design, configuration, and deployment across Compliance Management, Export Control, Customs Management, and Trade Preference-related capabilities.
  • Define integration points with SAP S/4HANA SD, MM, logistics, and master data processes.
  • Collaborate with security, enterprise architecture, and compliance teams to incorporate ABAC / NextLabs integration considerations for sensitive or export-controlled data.
  • Support the design of compliant access and data-handling workflows across business processes, interfaces, reporting, and document controls.
  • Drive functional specifications, solution documentation, test strategy, defect management, cutover planning, and hypercare support.
  • Support audits, regulatory reviews, and control reporting with traceable process and system evidence.
  • Mentor junior team members and operate effectively across multi-SI, cross-functional delivery models.

SAP Transformation Delivery & Ways of Working

  • Participate in SAP S/4HANA-enabled transformation delivery across the full lifecycle (Discover, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Hypercare / Run) aligned to SAP Activate methodology.
  • Operate effectively in hybrid Agile delivery models, combining sprint-based execution with milestone-driven governance.
  • Use Jira (or similar tools) for backlog management, user stories, sprint planning, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate across functional, technical, data, integration, security, and compliance teams to deliver end-to-end outcomes.
  • Support test cycles, cutover planning, hypercare stabilization, issue triage, and transition to support.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–10+ years of SAP GTS implementation and/or support experience.
  • Experience in regulated environments, preferably Aerospace & Defense, defense contractors, or export-controlled operations.
  • Strong integration experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC, including SD, MM, and relevant interface patterns.
  • Ability to lead workshops, translate regulatory/business requirements into system design, and support audit-ready delivery.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with business, legal, compliance, and IT stakeholders.
  • Strong end-to-end SAP GTS experience spanning Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Trade-related capabilities.
  • Experience with export control, license determination, SPL screening, embargo checks, customs processes, and trade master data governance.
  • Working knowledge of ABAC concepts and NextLabs integration considerations in regulated environments.
  • Ability to partner with security and architecture teams on controlled data access, policy enforcement, and system integration design.
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense, export-controlled, or similarly regulated environments is strongly preferred.

 Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC, DFARS, and related defense compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with SAP CPI/PI/PO, APIs, IDocs, and complex enterprise integration patterns.
  • Exposure to SAP EWM, TM, or warehouse / logistics process integration.

 Education & Certifications

Bachelor''s degree in supply chain, Information Systems, International Business, Compliance, or related field. SAP GTS certification preferred. Trade compliance or customs certifications are a plus.
