Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Bossier City, LA
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 10 hours a day (40 hr week) Hours can be flexible; can come in earlier and can get off earlier, but must be onsite during core hours (8-5)

- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, additional years of experience in lieu of degree can be considered.
- Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience in Systems Engineering
- Required Technical Skills: Red Hat, Linux and Solaris (a plus)
- Security Clearance Level: Secret
- Security+ CE certification/DoD 8140 compliant
- Location: On site in Bossier City, LA
HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
- Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects.
- Performs systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
- Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis & functional allocation
- Oversight of moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
- Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
- Conduct system requirements reviews
- Develop Systems architectures
