Job Overview:
The HTML5 Banner Developer will collaborate closely with production and creative teams to develop engaging content that aligns with the creative vision. This role requires expertise in banner development, including HTML5 banner ad animation, and a strong understanding of best practices in the field. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, along with knowledge of design, composition, and animation principles. They should be adept at creating assets for animation from static imagery and have a solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with optimization techniques, project planning software, and ad-serving platforms is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop animated HTML banners for ad platforms such as Innovid, Google Campaign Manager 360, and Amazon Ads Creative Studio.
• Collaborate with producers, developers, designers, and art directors to meet tight deadlines.
• Generate pixel-perfect HTML layouts using CSS and Adobe Animate from Figma files and PSDs.
• Optimize banner ads for fast loading and efficient performance.
• Manage multiple projects while ensuring high-quality, on-brand consistency.
• Seek out new industry approaches and share discoveries to fuel innovation.

Qualifications:

• Five+ years of experience as a motion developer.
• Bachelor's degree in multimedia, graphic design, animation, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong portfolio/reel showcasing relevant work.
• Robust understanding of design principles and banner ad development.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Animate, and GitHub.
• Expertise in Vanilla JavaScript, GreenSock Animation Platform, and CreateJS.
• Deep understanding of CSS, Flexbox, and HTML.
• Experience with accessibility guidelines and familiarity with After Effects (and expressions).
• Knowledge of video editing and requirements for major social platforms is a plus.
• Experience with project management systems such as Workfront is preferred.

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
