Our client, a leading higher education institution, is seeking an experienced Huron Research Suite Business Analyst to support a large-scale research administration transformation initiative. The selected consultant will work closely with functional stakeholders, project leadership, and implementation partners to ensure successful deployment and adoption of the Huron Research Suite platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with functional and technical teams throughout the full implementation lifecycle — planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
• Develop detailed Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, and project documentation
• Assist with solution design reviews and configuration validation
• Create and maintain project decision logs and documentation
• Develop and execute UAT strategies, test cases, test scripts, and supporting materials
• Facilitate UAT sessions and coordinate defect tracking, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Support integration design, validation, and testing between Huron Research Suite and enterprise systems
• Assist with report design, validation, and user reporting requirements
• Participate in data conversion planning, mapping, validation, and testing
• Support tenant build planning, configuration reviews, and validation processes
• Develop training materials, user support procedures, and operational readiness documentation
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and project leadership

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise software implementations
• Strong experience creating functional requirements, process documentation, and testing artifacts
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience coordinating defect management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment
• Experience working within higher education institutions or research administration environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Direct experience with Huron Research Suite implementations, support, or optimization
• Higher Education Research Administration background
• Knowledge of research lifecycle processes — proposal development, grants management, compliance, and research operations
• Experience supporting integrations, reporting, and data conversion in research management platforms
