Digital Assets Backend & Workflow Engineer
Role purpose: Build the services that coordinate digital-asset requests from initiation through approval, execution, confirmation, and downstream updates.
Responsibilities:
Develop internal APIs for transaction requests, status tracking, and operational workflows.
Implement transaction state machines and integration with relevant trading, cash, custody, and servicing systems.
Build webhook ingestion with authenticity verification, deduplication, durable processing, replay, and exception handling.
Implement idempotent transaction submission and safe recovery from timeouts or uncertain outcomes.
Build signing/approval callback integrations where the selected architecture requires them.
Maintain correlation IDs and an auditable record across internal requests, provider transactions, and blockchain transactions.
Required profile:
Strong Java, Python, TypeScript, or equivalent enterprise backend experience.
Expertise in asynchronous processing, messaging platforms, databases, and resilient API integration.
Experience handling duplicate, delayed, and out-of-order events.
Understanding of transaction consistency and distributed failure modes.
Digital-asset integration experience preferred.
