eGRC Data Specialist (US Cit to pass Top Secret level Security Clearance)
We are seeking to hire a eGRC Data Specialist to join our team working on a multi-year award we have within a large Federal Gov’t agency in the Washington, DC area. This role is 100% remote.
Must be clearable to Top Secret level. No dual citizenship. Obtaining a Top Secret/Q clearance is required to stay on contract long term. Candidates are not required to possess this clearance to begin working; however, candidates must be prepared to initiate the clearance process upon being staffed.
This position pays a strong salary package with full benefits (including choice of healthcare plans, dental, vision, life insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and a matching 401k).
An option for working on an hourly rate is also available for those not needing a full benefits package.
Position Description:
As the eGRC Data Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of a new eGRC platform called RegScale.
Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive data discovery functions, analyzing data exports, and mapping information from legacy schemas to new, OSCAL-compliant formats.
You will be expected to develop automated scripts for data parsing and extraction, draft detailed assessments and reports on migration activities, and identify as well as categorize Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts for migration or archival.
Your expertise will be crucial in transforming data from Excel, MS Word, and other legacy formats, ensuring a seamless transition to the system.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with Professional Services resources to coordinate and execute data migration tasks, leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
You will review SharePoint repositories to locate artifacts for migration, capture existing workflows, dashboards, and reports, and then reproduce or enhance them within the new eGRC solution.
Developing custom dashboards, reports, and content tailored to stakeholder needs will be a key part of your role, as will generating and presenting key metrics to various audiences.
Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) artifacts and provide expert advice on data-related topics, supporting inquiries and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the migration process.
Qualifications:
·· Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Cybersecurity, Data, or a related field.
· 5+ years of professional experience with proven experience with cybersecurity and IT data.
· Strong understanding and experience working with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
· Strong understanding of cyber security best practices
· Experience performing security engineering functions
· Experience developing and modifying scripts
· Experience mapping inheritance and Common Control Catalogs
· Experience developing or tuning Risk Scoring
· Experience mapping data schemas
· Experience working with OSCAL
· Experience working on Federal systems
· Experience working in AWS GovCloud
· Experience working with the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
