Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for leading a team focused on a core business domain and leading developers to modernize legacy systems by developing new software and services using cloud-native Google Cloud Platform technologies.
  • Own planning, estimation, and tracking features, and help define corporate software development life cycle as the company modernizes technologies and approaches.
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Microsoft .NET, C#, and Python.
  • Architect and implement advanced SQL and NoSQL data layers within a Kubernetes-based multi-region active-active infrastructure.
  • Plan, estimate, and track software features and development progress.
  • Define and improve the software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development team members.
  • Perform unit and integration testing using various testing tools.
  • Utilize Confluence and Jira for documentation and project management.
  • Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or other version control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement modern cloud architecture.
  • Work with product managers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver strategic software solutions.
  • Integrate A/B testing and data analytics into development workflows.
  • Utilize and apply knowledge of Building micro-services, .NET, Java, Python, Technical team and project management, Application architecture, .NET C# programming, SQL development and performance tuning, Microservice development, Digital transformation, cloud platform, GitLab, CI/CD pipeline and deployment, and Developing and maintaining metrics, alarms, and monitoring services to perform tasks and duties.
  • Implement automated testing processes through Quality Operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices and DevOps initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience:

Seven (7) years in the position above, as a Software Architect, as a Staff Software Architect, Sr. Software Development Engineer, Sr. .NET Consultant, as a Technical Architect, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include four (4) years use of all the following: Building micro-services, .NET, Java, Python, Technical team and project management, Application architecture, .NET C# programming, SQL development and performance tuning, Microservice development, Digital transformation, cloud platform, GitLab, CI/CD pipeline and deployment, and Developing and maintaining metrics, alarms, and monitoring services.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Education:

Bachelors - Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
