Systems Engineer

Description

In this role, you will focus on implementing and managing biometric fingerprint login capabilities for Windows 11 endpoints within an on-premises environment. Your expertise in Active Directory, endpoint security, and multi-factor authentication will be essential to successfully achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a centralized biometric fingerprint login system for Windows 11 endpoints.

Configure Active Directory to support domain-joined devices with biometric authentication.

Ensure seamless user access across multiple endpoints using biometric credentials.

Design solutions that allow non-biometric users to log in with traditional methods while maintaining security.

Establish centralized management for enabling and disabling biometric login capabilities.

Troubleshoot and resolve conflicts related to two-factor authentication visibility across biometric and non-biometric devices.

Evaluate and recommend solutions, including Windows Hello for Business or other non-Microsoft options, to meet project requirements.

Maintain endpoint security and protection protocols throughout the implementation process.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align biometric authentication solutions with business objectives.

Document and communicate system configurations, processes, and recommendations effectively.

Requirements

Proficiency in Active Directory and domain controller management.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 11 desktop environments.
Experience with biometric authentication systems and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Understanding of endpoint security and protection measures.
Familiarity with Group Policy Objects (GPO) for managing Windows environments.
Ability to design and implement centralized identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
Expertise in troubleshooting authentication conflicts and ensuring system compliance.
Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and their application in endpoint protection.
