Job Title: SAP RTR Consultant Location: Hybrid Lisle, IL (4 days onsite) Duration: 6+ Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP RTR (Record-to-Report) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI). The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of financial processes, SAP data structures, and end-to-end RTR lifecycle, including General Ledger accounting, journal processing, and financial reporting. This role requires hands-on experience in managing financial data flow and ensuring accuracy across SAP systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8 12 years of experience in SAP RTR / SAP FI
Strong hands-on expertise in:
General Ledger (GL)
Journal Entries
Month-End Close
Financial Reporting
Solid understanding of financial data flow (sub-ledger to GL integration)
Experience working with SAP tables:
BKPF (Accounting Document Header)
BSEG (Accounting Document Segment)
ACDOCA (Universal Journal)
Proven experience in data mapping and reconciliation
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) processes
Work extensively on SAP FI modules, including:
General Ledger (GL)
Journal Entries
Month-End and Year-End Close activities
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and data
Analyze and manage financial data flow from sub-ledgers to General Ledger
Perform data mapping, reconciliation, and validation activities
Work with core SAP tables such as BKPF, BSEG, and ACDOCA
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve financial and system-related issues
Support audits and compliance requirements
