Project Description :
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced technology professional for the Operational Technology team. The desired candidate shall have prior knowledge of systems, such as Electronic Security Systems (ESS), Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) and Building Automation system (BAS). The candidate shall be proficient in Windows Administration Scripting, SQL ServerAdministration, Windows Server administration and maintaining windows desktops. Highly preferred is a candidate who has had experience working with an independent Federal Agency,thorough knowledge of FISMA, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, desktop operating system, PowerShell scripts and networking. A successful candidate will interface with internal customers of varying technical ability and other technical support teams to resolve a wide range of technical issues. The candidate must demonstrate ability to follow standard operating procedures and processes and assist the team in automatingprocesses where possible. The candidate must have experience managing support efforts using a ticketing system such as ServiceNow or Remedy. The candidate may be called upon to provide occasional after-hours maintenance support overnights and weekends.Period of Performance: March 3, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with potential for extension.Place of Performance: On-Site daily, Washington, DC Client locations.
Qualification Requirements :
Must have 10+ year of experience administering Windows Servers in an enterprise government-preferred) environment, with an understanding and ability to work within the environmental constraints related to the agency Must have 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation Must have 5+ years with systems that use high availability architectureThe candidate shall possess the knowledge and skills set forth as a Senior System Administrator and demonstrate the following production support capabilities: Physical security system and building automation support to meet service level agreements Information systems and applications used in the facility services, law enforcement, and emergency management and preparedness industries Analyze system performance and recommend improvements Resolve complex system issues for commercial applications, operating systems and networks, and triage customer support calls for Tier 2 / Tier 3 escalation service. Troubleshoot system performance issues, implement corrective actions Perform server maintenance activities both hardware and software-related, including installations, network configurations, error log reviews, patches, integrity checks, system** are acceptable.
Skills Requirements :

Responsibilities :
The selected person shall be responsible for installation patching, maintaining and supporting various software tools/systems used by departments such as Facility and Law Enforcement. Ability and experience working with an independent Federal Agency, with thorough knowledge of FISMA, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, desktop operating system, PowerShell scripts and networking. Ability to interface with internal customers of varying technical ability and other technical support teams to resolve a wide range of technical issues. Provide demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures and processes and assist the team in automatingprocesses where possible. Provide managing support efforts using a ticketing system such as ServiceNow or Remedy. Provide occasional after-hours maintenance support overnights and weekends if called upon.
