We have an opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Specialist / Contract Specialist supporting a federal government program in Washington, DC (onsite).

Location: Onsite – Washington, DC
Type: Full-time / Contract
 
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Federal Contract Specialists / Acquisition Specialists to provide cradle-to-grave acquisition support for a federal government program. The role includes both pre-award and post-award contracting activities in accordance with federal procurement regulations.
 
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience (one required):
  • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of federal contracting experience
    OR
  • 24 business-related college credits + 7 years of federal contracting experience
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience performing full lifecycle (cradle-to-grave) federal contracting
  • Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) including Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16
  • Experience with BPA, IDIQ, and Task Orders
  • Experience with federal contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, OASIS+, and other multi-agency or enterprise vehicles
  • Experience preparing acquisition documentation including:
    • Acquisition plans
    • Solicitations (RFP/RFQ)
    • Awards and modifications
    • Justifications and approvals (J&A)
    • Combined synopsis/solicitations
  • Experience performing cost and price analysis and developing pre-negotiation positions
  • Experience supporting source selection activities, competitive range development, and evaluation documentation
  • Experience supporting protest responses
  • Knowledge of government contract writing systems such as PRISM
  • Experience using FPDS and SAM.gov
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle procurement-sensitive or other secure information and follow OPSEC procedures
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting law enforcement–related contracts
  • Experience supporting IT hardware and software contracts
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to work onsite in Washington, DC
