Capacity Engineer with Data Engineer - Remote

We have an immediate opportunity for a Capacity Engineer / Data Engineer with strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) expertise to support enterprise-scale infrastructure planning, forecasting, and optimization initiatives. This role focuses on ensuring systems scale efficiently to meet growing business demand while maintaining high availability, resiliency, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in data engineering, infrastructure automation, observability, and capacity planning within modern cloud and distributed environments.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, transform, and analyze infrastructure usage data for forecasting and decision-making purposes. The role requires hands-on experience in building analytical and predictive models to forecast CPU, memory, storage, and infrastructure growth trends. Responsibilities also include performing load testing, identifying scaling bottlenecks, automating provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve system resiliency and eliminate single points of failure.

To be successful in this position, one needs to have strong expertise in SQL, Python, Spark, and Airflow for large-scale data processing and orchestration, along with hands-on experience in monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog. Candidates should possess solid experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Harness for infrastructure automation and deployment management. Knowledge of chaos engineering, resilience testing, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure scalability is highly preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
