Baer is looking for SAP SD Consultant for a 9+ month remote project.

Overview
We are seeking an SAP SD Consultant to own the end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP Sales and Distribution processes. The consultant will lead fit-to-standard workshops, define future-state Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, support integrations, and ensure stable deployment and post-go-live operations.
Description

• Lead fit-to-standard and fit-gap workshops and define future-state O2C processes.
• Configure and support core SAP SD processes, including:
  • Pricing, condition techniques, discounts, rebates, and free goods.
  • Delivery and shipping points, route determination, picking, and packing.
  • Billing, invoicing, cancellations, credit/debit memos, and returns.
  • Credit management, order blocks, and release strategies.
  • Output/message control and sales, delivery, and billing document requirements.
• Coordinate SD integrations with FI, MM, WM/EWM, and Transportation processes.
• Support interfaces such as IDocs and APIs, as well as e-commerce, CRM, and tax engine integrations.
• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SD scenarios.
• Perform root-cause analysis to identify issues related to configuration, master data, or integrations.
• Support data validation, functional specifications, defect resolution, and business process documentation.
• Support cutover planning and execution, including open sales orders, deliveries, and billing documents.
• Provide post-go-live hypercare and stabilization support.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend SAP best practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience with SAP SD and end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP SD configuration and functional design.
• Strong understanding of pricing, shipping, delivery, billing, returns, and credit management.
• Experience integrating SD with FI, MM, WM/EWM, and other business systems.
• Experience with IDocs, APIs, e-commerce/CRM integrations, and tax integrations.
• Strong experience with SIT, UAT, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience supporting cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP S/4HANA experience is preferred.
