Title: Senior Procurement Analyst
Location: Remote; however, the contractor must be located in the DMV area
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities:
Proactively manage and oversee multiple, concurrent procurements from requisition creation through purchase order creation in support of the PCAOB divisions and offices.
Proactively manage and oversee IT and AI related procurements.
Proactively lead the sourcing of materials and services for divisions and offices in accordance with PCAOB policies.
Proactively coordinate with leadership, vendors and other stakeholders as appropriate to ensure that contracts are executed effectively and in a timely manner.
Execute procurement strategies across assigned purchasing areas of responsibility while contributing to ongoing automation and modernization initiatives through the use of AI.
Provide reports and analysis on procurement-related activity to leadership and key internal customers.
Develop contracts and lead negotiations with external vendors on contract terms and conditions to secure advantageous terms.
Proactively prepare and lead Request for Proposal events for division and office needs.
Prepare non-disclosure agreements and lead negotiations with external parties.
Finalize purchase details of orders for goods and services.
Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Proactively manage effective working relationships within the PCAOB and with vendors and service providers.
Support various audit requests and work with auditors, as needed.
Proactively continually review and make recommendations on Procurement policy and procedures for effectiveness.
Adhere to Procurement and PCAOB policies and ensure divisions and offices adhere to Procurement policies.
Liaison with office of General Counsel on contract management and contract storage, as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or equivalent.
Working knowledge or experience in using modern technology tools (i.e. AI) and digital enablement.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement / purchasing and contract review / management and vendor management.
Ability to present findings, ideas, and recommendations in a clear, concise, and well organized manner to all levels of management.
Ability to work independently and with teams.
Strong organizational skills and ability to perform detailed-oriented and accurate work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of internal controls.
Prefer knowledge of Workday Financials (Procurement and Strategic Sourcing), LinkSquares
Prefer experience using AI for business process innovation.
