E-Learning Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a E-Learning Specialist to join their team for a 6+ month contract engagement.

Summary:
This is a hands-on development role focused on creating, updating, and maintaining engaging and accessible digital learning content. The ideal candidate will have around 2-3 years of e-learning experience and be comfortable working independently within established learning designs and project plans.

What you'll be doing:
* Develop clear, creative, and accessible learning materials, courses/modules, and VILT using authoring tools such as Elucidat and Articulate Rise, aligned with e-learning best practices
* Partner with subject matter experts and instructional designers to translate existing content and established learning designs into effective e-learning experiences
* Develop, update, and maintain digital training content supporting onboarding, upskilling, and ongoing development
* Develop interactive elements such as simulations, scenario-based learning, and assessments to support learner engagement and retention
* Incorporate multimedia elements, including audio, video, and graphics, into e-learning content
* Perform video editing, with potential closed captioning work
* Apply WCAG 2.2 and Section 508 accessibility standards to ensure content is usable and accessible
* Apply SCORM standards within e-learning authoring tools to support compatibility, tracking, and reporting across LMS platforms
* Support the development and maintenance of content within the current LMS environment and potentially assist with a future LMS migration
* Independently execute development work based on established designs, requirements, and project plans

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-3 years of hands-on e-learning development experience
* Experience building courses and modules using Elucidat, Articulate Rise, or similar authoring tools
* Strong understanding of e-learning development principles and best practices
* Experience with SCORM and publishing content to an LMS
* Knowledge of WCAG 2.2, Section 508, and digital accessibility
* Experience with video editing and multimedia content
* Ability to take established designs and requirements and independently turn them into polished learning content
* Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accessibility
* Comfortable in a production-focused role with limited instructional design and project planning responsibilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
