We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team focused on Customer Information Management (KIM).
Technology Stack
- Snowflake (all data infrastructure)
- dbt (core transformation framework)
- Python (select data workflows)
- GitHub & GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipelines)
- AWS (Kubernetes environment) Infrastructure already established (AWS expertise not required)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models in Snowflake
- Develop and optimize transformation workflows using dbt
- Collaborate through pair programming (up to 6 hours daily) as a core working practice
- Integrate and manage data from multiple internal and external customer-related sources
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the analytics platform
- Support the ongoing evolution of the Customer Information Management ecosystem
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Solid experience building transformations with dbt
- Experience writing data workflows in Python
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ELT/ETL patterns, and analytics engineering best practices
- Comfortable with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices
- Experience working with multiple data sources and complex data ecosystems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a highly collaborative, pair-programming environment
Rate: $65-75/hour ( depends on experience level). This is a contract position with contractors expected to work 40 hours per week.
